Mod

Photo Credits to Lance del Prado

I have always been a fan of 60s clothing 'cause it's very simple but beautiful at the same time. There are two types of clothing during the 60s: Rock and Mod. Those who prefer "rock" wear teddy boy or teddy girl outfits (you can easily tell them i swear, especially when it comes to their hair, i promise to post a teddy girl look soon!) and those who are "mod" prefer clothes that are less-revealing and not body-hugging. What I'm wearing is a gray long-sleeved, off-white laced shift dress with an extension of ruffles under it (I added this so that it wouldn't look too short since I wore this to church hehe).

Dress: Vintage store.
Flats: Greenhills

I bought this dress in a vintage thrift shop in Katipunan. You can buy all sorts of vintage stuff for an affordable price in thrift shops, all you need is patience, time and a good eye.

I curled my hair and added a small amount of coral-colored lipstick. I like everything simple! :-)

I wore my fave red and black faux suede flats to give the outfit a more sophisticated look. What about you? Have you tried dressing up Mod before? :-)
